Yoga Etiquette

Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign in. This will give you time to change, set aside belongings, turn off cellphones, find your space on the studio floor and allow yourselves a few minutes on your mat to unwind before class.

Remove your shoes before entering the studio class room.

Leave your jewelry at home. This is especially true for Aerial Yoga since rings or bracelets can snag the soft silk fabrics.

Avoid strong smelling perfumes or lotions.

Inform the teacher of any medical condition, injuries or concerns before class.

Wear comfortable clothes. Layers are best as your body temperature may change throughout the practice.

Mats and towels are available for rent. However, we recommend that you bring your own mat and towel.

Come to class well hydrated. One of yoga’s many benefits is the flushing out of toxins, and water helps this process.

Avoid practicing on a full stomach.

If you are late please wait for the teacher to acknowledge you and find the best space for you.

Be considerate of your neighbors' space when you set up your mat.

Silence during the class is always appreciated.

Listen to your body and take care of yourself during class.

Keep yourself hydrated and take rest whenever needed.

Only leave early if you must, but we prefer that you stay through the end of class to avoid disturbing others during Savasana. This allow everyone a few minutes of quiet time after practice.
