The Yoga Studio Introduces Aerial Yoga to the Bay Area
Campbell, CA – The Yoga Studio is the first yoga studio certified to bring a new form of yoga called Unnata Aerial Yoga, to the San Francisco Bay Area. Unnata Aerial Yoga uses a soft fabric hammock to suspend the yoga student, supporting their weight and enabling them to achieve traditional Hatha yoga poses through relaxation rather than effort. Many aerial yoga postures are designed to help students better understand the purpose of traditional yoga postures as well as achieve advanced traditional yoga poses, which often can take years to learn. Students also benefit from decompression of the spine. Unnata Aerial Yoga, created by Michelle Dortignac in New York City, benefits beginners as well as advanced yoga students.
The Yoga Studio owner/instructor Pik-Chu Wong is certified to teach Unnata Aerial Yoga by founder, Michelle Dortignac. Mrs. Wong is also a certified Yoga Alliance instructor through Yoga Educational Seminars (YES), and has been teaching yoga for over ten years. In addition to Unnata Aerial Yoga, The Yoga Studio will also offer a full schedule of traditional Hatha yoga classes, taught by some of the best instructors in the Bay Area. “My vision is to provide a beautiful, modern and inviting facility, and offer classes that help students experience the transformation of mind, body and spirit through regular practice,” says Mrs. Wong. “Aerial yoga can look intimidating at first, but it’s actually very relaxing and fun, once you learn how.”
The public is invited to attend The Yoga Studio’s grand opening on October 23, 2010 where they will feature demonstrations of aerial yoga and offer one-time discounts on yoga classes and merchandise. Classes begin on Monday September 27th, 2010. You can find details of the grand opening, class schedules and other information about the studio posted at www.theyogastudio.biz. The Yoga Studio is located in downtown Campbell, CA at 505 E. Campbell Avenue. For more information, call 408.534.YOGA (9642), or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
