Are you becoming a frequent flyer in our Aerial Yoga classes? If so, you are going to fall in love with this Aerial Dance workshop.
First you learn the Aerial Yoga poses then we choreograph them to music to create a beautiful dance. You will be suspended on the aerial hammock, gracefully turning upside-down, right-side-up, and spinning gently in different directions dancing to the sound of music.
Don't worry if dance or grace doesn't come natural to you, you will get a great workout while having tons of fun doing it.
Note: To register you must have attended at least 3 of our Aerial Yoga classes prior to the workshop.
Cost: $39; $34 if register by March 18th

Asana, Pranayama and Bandha Workshop with Joyce Anu
Saturday 3/31/2012
2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
The practice of asana is incomplete and nominally effective without the correct integration of the breath and the application of Bandha.
Bandhas are physical and energetic locks that are used to help distribute and channel energy in the body that gets stimulated by the position (asana) and the breath.
Pranayama involves regulation of the breath and using the breath to increase the intake and retention of vital force in the body in specific ways.
In this three hour, experiential workshop we will explore the following in our asana practice:
• Three main energy locks (chin, abdominal and root lock)
• Linking breath and movement (Vinyasa)
• Variations of Ujayi Pranayama
• Kapalabhati Pranayama
• Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing)
This workshop is open to beginners and continuing students. Some basic knowledge of yoga postures is helpful. Not appropriate for those who you currently have a respiratory illness.
Cost: $59; $49 if register by March 29th
